Mini-Hungary Park Opened
The Town Szarvas (pron. sar-vash) is located pretty much in the center of the Great Plain, 160 km from Budapest on the M5 motorway. The Arboretum of Szarvas in the largest arboretum in Hungary made in the late 1800's by the Bolza family. The Arboretum contains cca. 1600 types of popular and rare plants.
The new attraction of the Arboretum is the Mini-Hungary Park (in Hungarian: Mini Magyarország), that exhibits the built wonders of the country. The Chain Bridge, The Votive Church of Szeged, The Basilica of Esztergom, The State Opera House, Lake Hévíz, The Parliament of Hungary are now really just a step away from each other. A trip to Mini-Hungary is surely a great fun for all ages!
Entry ticket to the arboretum: 800 HUF (600 HUF for children and seniors)
Entry ticket to Mini-Hungary: 800 HUF (600 HUF for children and seniors)
Combined ticket to both: 1400 HUF (1000 HUF for children and seniors)
Opening hours: every day from 8 a.m. till dusk. tickets available until 6.30 p.m.
