Nature value Kunadacs
The area holds significant natural values by preserving a remnant of the wetlands locally called the turján region, which was once typical to the foreground of the Danube-Tisza Interfluve Ridge. Among its diverse habitats the bogs, bog and marsh meadows, and wet grasslands should be mentioned, as well as the sand dunes and sandy forests intercalating with these. Ther are outstanding botanical values as well, for example several orchid species. Besides the area is one of the best habitats of the endangered Danubian meadow viper.
