JAZZ WORKSHOP CSEPREGI–RÁTONYI DUO & ELIANE AMHERD JAZZ CALIENTE (USA–PE–BR) Festival Theatre Eliane Amherd hit upon the Csepregi–Rátonyi Duo while browsing the internet. Their sympathetic collaboration captivated the singer and guitarist, who now lives in the United States and is herself an increasingly acclaimed performer in her adopted country. One of Amherd’s secrets is not to tie herself to any given genre or style. At the Palace of Arts, she will be accompanied by her group Jazz Caliente, thus forming a quintet with the two Hungarian musicians. The joint concert will feature compositions by both parties, as well as unusual arrangements of some standards from Amherd’s repertoire.
