Bakonyerdő Zrt. welcomes nature and hunting enthusiasts. Visitors can hunt for red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, mouflon and wild boar individually or in hunting parties.
DALERD Délalföldi Erdészeti (Southern Great Plain Forestry) Zrt. is the state forestry management company of the Southern Great Plain. It is in charge of approximately 29,000 hectares of land stretching over the counties of Békés and Csongrád.
EGERERDŐ Zrt. manages wildlife and hunting on three territories, each with distinctive features, on the largest continuous forested mountainous terrain in the North Hungarian Mountains, amounting to an area of 57,000 hectares.
The hunting ground of some 70,000 hectares is located in a primarily highland, forested area in the north-eastern part of the country at Bükk, Aggtelek Karst and the Zemplén Mountains. Unique flora and fauna lend it its magic.
The forest management company manages hunting grounds totalling approximately 56,000 in the largest continuous floodplain area of Europe, at Gemenc, along the banks of the Danube, near the border, in the catchment basins of Béda and Karapancsa, and on the forested sand hills of Kiskunság.
Gyulaj Zrt. manages wildlife on four hunting grounds, over a total area of approximately 30,000 hectares. Its hunting grounds house the most exceptional wild boar, fallow and red deer stocks. Its five fallow deer CIC world record trophies are unrivalled. The first record-breaking Hungarian SCI trophy (a wild boar shot in 2011) was also bagged on this territory.
The hunting grounds and lodges of HM Budapest Forestry Zrt. are the closest destination for tourists arriving in the capital. The grounds cover 21,000 hectares of its own hunting territory in three different areas.
The 18,000 hectares of continuous forest area and the adjacent 7,000 hectares of primarily agricultural farmland managed by HM Kaszó Erdőgazdaság Zrt. constitute the natural habitat of one of the top quality game stocks in Hungary. Wildlife management and maintenance is thus one of the primary responsibilities of the company.
HM VERGA Forestry Zrt. welcomes hunters to the heart of Bakony. Visitors can hunt for red deer, wild boar, mouflon and roe deer. Hunting lodge services are excellent.
The forests of Naszály, the sheltered summits of the magnificent Börzsöny, and the nearby slopes of Cserhát make up one of the closest nature preserves to Budapest. Ipoly Erdő Zrt. supervises the approximately 65,000 hectares of state-owned forests, handling wildlife management in line with forest management activities over a substantial part (51,000 hectares) of the territory.
