VADEX Mezőföldi Zrt. has been engaged in world-class wildlife management for decades. Its visitors, most of whom are foreigners, regularly return to enjoy the high-spirited and famously well-organised wild boar and pheasant hunts with big yields and to bag some excellent red deer, fallow stag and mouflon trophies.

The diverse area with excellent natural properties is an ideal habitat thanks to its rich forests and ample water. Wildlife management concentrates primarily on eight preserves where big wildlife management is famous across Europe. Nevertheless, the society also possesses open country areas, such as the hunting forest of Belső-Báránd, which is suitable for the release of artificially reared pheasants. The northern, highland terrains are ideal for big game, while the southern areas favour waterfowl and pheasant. The company manages six hunting grounds with a total area of 37,723 hectares.

The full range of Hungarian big game can be found in the area: red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer, wild boar and sika deer.
