According to the legend, Ányos Jedlik, the inventor of soda-water, first created the ‘wine spritzer’ at his vineyard in Fót for his guests. However in reality this outstanding drink, was first tasted in Győr, at the Benedictine monastery. Since then the ‘Spritzer’ has conquered Europe and the world, and to this day the soda of Győr is a Hungaricum!
