Summer Festivals 2013

Summer is the time to relax and enjoy live, often outdoor performances of your favourite music. Fortunately Hungary hosts a wide range of musical events every year, so you are sure to find something to your taste. These are the main musical events for the summer of 2013:

Budapest Summer Festival, Open Air Stage, Margaret Island, Budapest June-August 2013
Ballet, opera, musicals and pop music concerts form a chain of concerts and art performances every weekend throughout the summer months.  It is held in a beautiful open-air venue at the foot of the majestic water tower, in the middle Margaret Island's park. This charming setting can be a little difficult to reach in a hurry, so allow extra time and make use of trams and bus or the dedicated ferry service serving both sides of the river.
