New flights to Budapest

Hungary's growing strength as a holiday destination is demonstrated, as no less than 4 airlines have announced new flights to Budapest this year! Jet2, Wizzair, Qatar Airways and Norwegian will all be adding to their schedules starting this summer!

Wizzair, based in Budapest, is currently the largest of all Hungarian airlines, and one of the largest budget airlines in Eastern Europe. "Wizz" will be adding an extra flight daily between London Luton and Budapest, from the 30th March 2014, to bring the total to 4 (one morning flight and three afternoon/evening flights) more information.

Norwegian, Norway's only budget carrier, will now be offering direct flights between Budapest Franz Liszt Airport and London Gatwick, starting on 30th March 2014. More info on Norwegian City Breaks.

Jet 2, the budget airline serving the northern part of the UK will be adding a flight from their home base at Leeds Bradford airport to Budapest, twice weekly starting on 3rd April 2014. This airport is relatively southern, so the flying time is only 2 hours and 45 minutes. (This now increases the number of Jet2's Budapest-UK airport connections to 4 (Manchester, Edinburgh, East Midlands and now Leeds Bradford) More information.

Qatar Airways, the Middle Eastern airline offers daily flights from Doha to Budapest.
