Budapest Cake Tour: The coolest programme for bike & cake enthusiasts

Eating cake is pleasant. Riding your bike is superb. Doing them together? Absolutely cool! And this is exactly what Budapest Cake Tour (BCT) is encouraging us to do: delicious confectionery of six new-wave confectioners of Budapest to be tasted, and cycling from one to another.
We can buy a pass, which allows us to visit any of the six confectioneries! We get a stamp at each sweet shops, and if we have tried the selection of all of them, we can return to one of the six confectioneries, where we get the cake of the house for free!

The idea of the initative belongs to Bea Borogdai, the owner of Dynamo bike rental & confectionery. The programme has invited such confectoneries where sweets are created with passion and state-of-the-art mentality and also of quality ingredients.

Besides Dynamo, we can taste sweets of:

Chez Dodo (macaron manufacture with a selection changing on a daily basis. Salt caramel, pistachio, cognac raisin… should we explain any further?)

Édesem (Chocolate fondant-cake, gluten-free Matcha-tea almond cake, heaps of Oreo cakes and lactose-free chocolate sweets…)

Édes Sári (Homely confectionery with brownies, pies, vegan-, lactose- and gluten-free delicacies)

ÉdességLabor (Deliver of creative and funny cakes)

Zazzi (French-style, heaps of macarons)
